DWC rides are about community, fitness, and fun. We get competitive—that’s part of the culture—but everyone is there to be friends. These guidelines help us stay safe and keep the vibe right.
Riding in a Group
- Communicate. Call out obstacles, turns, and slowdowns. Point or signal hazards. Say “on your left” when passing.
- Hold your line. Avoid sudden moves. Smooth, predictable riding keeps everyone safe.
- Regroup. We wait for the group at agreed spots. No one gets dropped without a plan.
- Look out for each other. If someone flats or has a mechanical, we slow down or stop. We finish together when we can.
Crashes Suck—We Avoid Them
Nobody wants to go down. We ride hard but we ride smart: no reckless moves in the pack, no taking risks with other people’s safety. If someone does crash, we stop, make sure they’re okay, and help before we roll again. That’s the standard.
Inclusive & Community-First
All disciplines, all levels, all people. We’re here to build community and welcome new riders. If you’re new to group rides, ask for a quick rundown—someone will fill you in. We want everyone to feel like they belong.
