This fall is shaping up to be an exciting time for the Fort Lewis College cycling program. The creation of the Fort Lewis Cycling Booster Club, the establishment of the FLC Cycling Alumni Club and it’s first ever Alumni reunion are among the highlights. The most notable development however, has been Lance Armstrong’s commitment to the FLC Cycling program as keynote speaker at a fundraiser banquet to benefit both the Fort Lewis College Cycling Team and Trails 2000. FLC Cycling Team Clothing is 40% off through May 1st at the FLC Bookstore in the College Union Building on the FLC Campus. The selection of items is huge: Water/Wind proof thermal and rain jackets, long sleeve jerseys, women’s and men’s short sleeve jerseys, womens and mens bib and non-bib shorts, thermal bib tights, arm and leg warmers, socks, hats, t-shirts and hoodies. A portion of the proceeds go to the cycling team in its endeavor to win yet another National Championship at Collegiate Road Nationals, May 8-10 in Fort Collins, CO.
