Purg Uphill Mountain Bike Race
Racers get ready for the Purg Uphill Mountain Bike Race. You, your bike, 8 miles, 2000+ vertical feet and may the best rider win. Race starts in the Columbine area and finishes at the top of Chair 8. $15-Amateur $20-Pro. Prizes awarded and all proceed benefit Durango Devo. The Durango DEVO short track series continues this Wednesday night up on the
fort lewis campus @ the factory trails, located behind the bader sherridan
dorms. Sign up is at 530 and it will cost you 5$, B’s go at 6pm and A’s at
630. This is the 7th race in the series. Please show up and shred with us as
it is a great workout at 20min and 30min for A’s.

What: Team DEVO Circuit Race and Fundraiser

Where: At Three Springs Plaza 175 Mercado District. Take Hwy 160 South to Three Springs Blvd. Follow signs to Mercado District

When: Wednesday, June 11th from 5:30pm 8:30pm

Join Three Springs in supporting Durangos Junior Development Cycling Team on June 11th. This fundraising event will include non-competitive Group B/C, DEVO, and A level training races. There will be live music by Robin Davis in the Three Springs Plaza and food will be available by Zia Taqueria. All proceeds benefit Team DEVO.

The dirt track is approximately one-half mile long and riders will ride around the track for a designated amount of time similar to a crit race but on mountain bikes.

Races begin at 5:30pm at the short track behind Mercy Regional Medical Center. Entertainment begins at 6:30pm in the Plaza at Three Springs

The Durango DEVO Velo Swap will be back again at the Fairgrounds, friday may 23rd from 10am to 10pm. Registration for all IHBC events will be in the same room, so we need tons of stuff to sell to tons of people. If you are interested in selling your gear, drop off is thursday from 3-8pm at the fairgrounds. Basically, you bring the cycling related thing in, decide a price, fill out a little tag, hand it to us, we sell it the next day, take 20% and cut you a check the following week. Local junior development cycling team, Durango DEVO, will make team jerseys available to the public through the end of January. Donate $250.00 and receive a blue U-14 or red U-19 2008 team DEVO jersey. Donors will also be included in all 2008 media, listed as a friend of DEVO. Donated money will be used to help pay uniform dues to incomingscholarshipcyclists for the 2008 season. Email Coach Chad Cheeney at chad@durangodevo.com with jersey size and color.
